Violet Pearl Moore was born on July 22, 1903, at her parents ranch house on Grizzly Gulch, near the rural town of Woody.. She was the fifth of eight children born to George Henry Moore and Laura Zania "Frazier" Moore. Violet and six siblings: Henry George (born 1890), Dell Dewy (born 1894), John Shelley (born 1996), Charles Joseph (born 1901), Byron Ray Moore (born 1905) and Gladys Laura Moore (born 1908).
(The circumstances of death still in development) Violet died on September 20, 1909 at her home on Grizzly Gulch.
Violet is buried next to her brother in the Moore plot at the Blue Mountain Cemetery in Woody. Violet and Byron have a common headstone.
