Robert Elmo Newman (commonly known as "Buck") was born on June 7, 1909, somewhere in California. He was the only child of Robert Newman and Edith Elenora Goyet. Buck married Gladys Laura Moore in an unknown location on August 30, 1930. The had one child: Danzel Mae Newman (born 1933).
Buck was eighty-seven years old when he passed away in Kern County on March 5, 1997. He is buried next to his wife, Gladys, in the Blue Mountain Cemetery. Buck and Gladys were married almost sixty-two years.
