Laura Zania Frazier was born on March 4, 1871 in Lone Pine, Inyo County, California. She was of the daughter of Benjamin Frazier and Parthenia Jane Hitchcock and had eight siblings: Benjamin (born 1867), Andrew W (1874), Minnie A (1876), Charles Joseph (born 1878), Alice May (born 1881), Henry George (born 1885), Olive Edna (born 1888), and Oda Floy (born 1892).
Laura married George Henry Moore on December 4, 1889, at the Ballard Mine, several miles east of Woody, Kern County, California. George and Laura were married for seventy-four years and had eight children: Henry George (born 1890), Dell Dewy (born 1894), John Shelley (born 1896), Charles Joseph (born 1901), Violet Pearl (1903), Byron Ray (born 1905), Gladys Laura, (born 1908), and Ila Mae (born 1910).
Laura at the Bakersfield Memorial Hospital on April 5, 1959, in Bakersfield, Kern County, California. At the time of her death, Laura was eight-eight years old. She is buried next to her husband George Henry Moore in the Blue Mountain Cemetery in Woody, Kern County, California.
